It doesn’t matter if you are skiing in France on vacation or on a weekend trip in Colorado. All skiing has basic safety rules. Here are some tips to stay safe on the slopes.

Get the right equipment. This will alleviate accidents or injuries.

Prepare for the weather. This will make sure you don’t get frostbite or that your extremities get too cold, which makes skiing harder.

Wear a helmet. This will protect your head from any major injuries.

Stay on the trails. Do not go off trail as it is dangerous.

Respect other skiers. Skiers in front of you have the right of way.

Always keep a look out. When skiing, you need to watch out above and below the slope to avoid accidents.

Ski with a friend. That way you can watch out for each other.

Get proper instruction. Skiing lessons can help you learn the right way to ski, which helps avoid accidents that cause injuries.

Don’t sit in the middle of the slope. If you fall down, get up and move to the side or keep skiing. If you need to rest, move to the edge so you do not block the slope.

Don’t travel to fast and stay in control.

Don’t ski on slopes that above your skill level.

Negotiation is a part of everyday life and can help you create better results for your career, business relationships, as well as your family life. You use negotiation skills everyday without even knowing it, whether we are compromising on a budget, asking for a raise in your salary, trying to make a sale with a customer, or making a decision with your spouse.

Taking a negotiating skills course can help you increase your chances of influencing others when you really need to the most. The courses usually teach you a few basics of negotiation: how to prepare, how to best build a rapport, how to gather the right information, how to deal with difficult people, and how to close the deal in the end.

People skills are extremely important when negotiating with others. One of the most important things you can do is be an active listener. You also need to understand the best way to phrase your questions and how to ask your questions without creating further conflict.

The basic courses can also teach how to best prepare for a negotiation situation by helping you discover what you want, how to understand who you are dealing with and what they want, and looking for options where you both can gain.

Negotiating courses can help you learn these basic skills. Having the ability to communicate to a broad range of personalities and styles offers you – the negotiator - the ability to be successful more often.

When it comes to investing in something as expensive as a car, you should always be careful. Although you may have something particular in mind, such as a make and model or a specific budget, but it’s easy to be talked into something completely different. In order to get your money, dealers will try one of many tricks to lure you into unnecessary spending. If you want to stay on track, you should be prepared for any one of the following.

Options and add ons are an easy way for a dealer to get you to spend more money. These extras are unnecessary, but you will be persuaded into thinking they are required. The dealer might use jargon or terms you’re unfamiliar with, to throw you off. They could also mislead you with certain deals or offers, that don’t provide what they say they will. If you’re looking to trade in your old car, dealers will often also undervalue your vehicle, which cheats you out of even more money. These are just a few of the tactics a dealer can use to get you to spend as much money as possible, even if you come in with a specific budget in mind.

The boy who was 16 at the time of his death had drank an estimated 45 shots.

The incident took place in January 2007 and the barman has been officially charged with ‘fatally injuring’ the boy.

It is alleged that the barman challenged the boy to a drinking competition but then poured himself mostly water. The amount of alcohol consumed by the boy meant that he fell into an alcohol induced coma and died 4 weeks later.

The case has triggered mass debate in Germany over the amount of drinking done by those who are underage.

The barman is also accused of serving alcohol to those underage on a total of over 70 occasions in the 2 years up to 2007.
